Solar Lantern Micro Enterprise CrowdFunding Initiative: Thanks for your support!

 

The “Solar Lantern Micro Enterprise” CrowdFunding initiative organised by SWF has been a great success with the target if €2,000 being well exceeded following the contributions of 44 backers (see here). A big thank you to all who supported this worthy cause and we will keep you posted on progress with the implementation of the funds to deliver a Solar-charged lighting solution for the community of Mvimwa in eastern Tanzania over the coming months.

Over €1,000 raised for Solar Power in Malawi Hospital

 

On the 5th February, over €1,000 was raised by IMERC at a table quiz in aid of Solar Without Frontiers, a charitable foundation committed to introducing solar technologies in developing countries to save lives. The money will be used to fund a solar installation at the Mulanje Mission Hospital in Malawi. Read More…

Solar Power to Africa – Table Quiz, 5 February 2013, Monkstown Inn

 

IMERC and Solar Without Frontiers invite you to their joint table quiz organised in support of SWF’s next solar power project at the Mulanje Mission Hospital in Malawi.

The quiz will take place at the Monkstown Inn, Glen Road, Monkstown, Co. Cork, on 5 February 2013, starting at 7.30 pm.

Come and bring your friends, have great fun and win fantastic prizes – all in aid of a volunteering project that will help improve the healthcare and save lives in the Mulanje community.
